GraphCommerce ships with a Hygraph (formerly GraphCMS) integration for content and Adobe Commerce integration for commerce. They're combined into a unified graph via GraphQL Mesh. This is handy if those are the systems you have now and plan to have in the future.
But what if you’re on a non-standard or legacy CMS? You'll have to write an integration yourself. The same applies to leveraging capabilities like recommendations, reviews, assets, etc.
How about when you want to move away from GraphCommerce when you’ve grown out of it? Bummer. None of the custom integrations you wrote will be reusable.
Atama Composer solves this.
We add an abstraction layer between your capabilities (content, commerce, search, etc.) and your GraphCommerce front end. Let your business users define the capabilities they need and the 3rd party services that provide them. Your Vue site simply integrates with the Atama SDK.
Want to add a commerce provider or CMS? No problem. Your front end doesn’t need to change at all.
Looking to re-use content or capabilities across new channels like email, mobile, or signage? Perfect. That's what Atama is all about.
